Covid19 update

We are all excited to hear that COVID19 restrictions have eased, allowing us to now visit our favourite parks around Victoria.

As of Monday 1st June COVID19 caravan camping will be allowed as long as you have your own facilities.

There are still strict guidelines on the new release of COVID19 regulations but it is looking like hard-roof caravans and motorhomes have a head start on everyone else! Tourist accommodation can open to guests provided there are no shared communal facilities.Communal space constitutes as an area that is shared between groups and is required in the operation of the accommodation such as shared bathrooms and kitchens. From our understanding, caravan parks will only be able to take campers who have their own built-in/plumed-in bathroom and kitchen facilities such as hard roof caravans and motorhomes.

Setting up your own toilet tent or digging a hole in the ground, is not acceptable under any circumstances at a caravan park.  Waste dump points are still available for use to enable the emptying of your toilet cartridges. We remind you to always wash your hands and sanitise touch surfaces. It is always advised to call ahead to booking your site and confirm that your destination is open for business.Caravan Parks and campgrounds with communal facilities cannot open because it may increase the potential risk of coronavirus (COVID-19) transmission.
